4th Grade will be making Kidspiration Picture Charts for “Things I am Thankful for.” The last half of the week they will start learning how to use the Excel program.
3rd grade is learning how to use the Publisher program to make different publications. They will be making campaign posters for their classroom candy bar elections.
2nd grade will finish learning all major tools on the paint program. They will soon start with their Face Off pictures.
1st Grade is finishing up their lessons on the paint program. They have some extra class time to practice drawing and hoaning their skills.
Kindergarten- This week they are making some drawings to use at a later time. They are drawing snowmen, robots and caterpillars. They will be using them for writing assignments at a later date.
3rd Grade Parents don’t forget to order your copy of the Welcome to the Jungle DVD. They are $5.00 each.

4th Grade will be working on their multiplication skills, and grammar skills. They will be playing Spacey Math-Multiplication, and Alien Word Mine-Nouns.
3rd Grade will be rehearshing for their upcomming play on Thursday with week during computer class.
2nd grade will be working on the Paint program this week.

Wow Last week was so busy that I did not have time to post what everyone was doing.
4th Grade- Learned how to create poster publications on MS Publisher. The Posters were Veterans Day theme, and were proudly displayed out side the computer lab for all the Veterans to see on Friday Morning.
3rd Grade- Worked on their time telling skills with an interactive Bingo game.
2nd Grade- Worked on their sight words with an interactive Bingo game.
1st Grade- Learned about spiders with a short video on Brain pop, wrote a rough draft SPIDER acrostic poem, typed it, and cut it out all in one class. Wow were we busy.
Kindergarten- This past week Kindergarten started learning how to use the Paint program. Students learned how to use the following tools: Pencil, Color Change, Paint Brush, Spray Paint, Fill Tool, Eraser, Clear Page, and Circle Tool.

We have lots of fun in store for us this week.
4th Grade will be finishing up thier timed typing tests.
3rd Grade will also be working on finishing their timed typing tests.
1st and 2nd grades will be learning how to use MS word.
Kindergarten will be working on Starfall learn to read again this week.
We will be having our end of quarter Tiger Pride Assembly this Friday. I will be handing out the Fastest Hands of the South Typing Certificates.

This week will be the LAST week on Dance Mat Typing.
The 4th graders and 3rd graderwill start timed typing tests on Thurdsay.
2nd Grade will make covers for their writers workshop notebooks on publisher.
1st grade will work on Dance Mat Typing all week.
Kindergarten will be reading on Starfall this week.
◊ Student and Parents don’t forget to check out the Spell City link on the bottom right corner. I have added Spelling words from 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. I will be adding 4th grade soon. This will be a great resource because you can play games with the spelling words and take practice spelling tests. Have Fun Playing.

Kindergarten will be Listening to And the DISH Ran Away with the SPOON by Janet Stevens and Susan Stevens Crummel. They will also be playing Number Train and 123 Order on the computer.
