Willard South Computers

This week the 4th graders will be creating animoto videos using the pictures and videos I shot from thier Chinese New Year parade. This is going to be a very exciting and fun undertaking. This is the first time I will be teaching the animoto site to any of my classes, so I am hoping it goes well.

3rd Grade have been working very hard on their Solar System Power Points, and I will begin loading them up on the website later in the week. I am very excited to share all of their hard work.

2nd grade will be working on counting money this week. I will be using videos from the Brain Pop jr. website. I will also be using additional websites from toon university that counts coins up, and a fun brain site that requires students to be able to count change back.

Kindergarten will be learning about the Presidents. I have a short video for them to view at the begining of the class period. I also will be Video taping them answer the question “What does a President do?” This is sure to be entertaining.

1st Grade will be studing about Abe Lincoln this week during class. We will gather and type facts about this great president.

Wow, I can’t believe that we missed 4 days of school last week!

This week the Kindergarten, 1st , 2nd and 4th grade students will be working on making Valentine’s Day Cards using the Publisher program.

3rd grade will be working on thier Solar System Power Points this week

This week 4th grade will work on Excel. They will be making M&M spreadsheets as well as pie and bar graphs.

3rd grade will be working on gathering facts for thier Solar System Power Points

2nd and 1st grades will be learning how to use the Tux Paint program.

Kindergarten will be reading using the Tumble Book program and toward the end of the week they will be writing and typing snow poems.

2nd grade will be finishing up on Tux paint

1st grade will be finishing up on Tux paint and starting to type and illustrate their books.

Kindergarten will begin learning the Tux paint program.
